The cooler temps really bring on a super sweet taste in most berry varieties.

Watermelon on the Side Road It’s been years since I grew my own watermelon. Each year I do consider starting some seeds to grow my own but they are just so easy to purchase locally during a grocery store trip. My husband and I happen to be coming home from Indiana and saw this roadside stand. It was purchase using the honor system so we had to guess what we would pay this home gardener. What would you pay for a roadside watermelon? This is from my Flickr Image Collection It started to down pour just as we approached the stand. My husband was kind enough to jump out and pick a watermelon. He did a great job! Thanks for checking out my post today!
