Potato Soup Recipe Video
This was my first time using the Instant Pot and I made a little ‘boo-boo’. In the video, I edit out the mistake and noted what to do if you get the ‘BURN FOOD’ warming on the Instant Pot. It is going to happen… trust me. When you get that warning it doesn’t mean you’ve destroyed your meal it just means you need to make some adjustments to the pot so don’t panic.

I tried the manual release method and had potato soup spitting out!! The soup that was left was very yummy 😋.
I have that happen with my pasta water when doing an early release with the Instant pot. I think it is the amount of liquid that makes its way to the top in a smaller appliance. My instant pot is a 3 Qt. The Electric pressure cooker I use is a 8 Qt and I have not had any liquid ‘spit’ out the top. I am really glad you liked the soup!!! Thank you so much for commenting. I’ll be sure more recipes this month so stay tuned!
