At Last Rose

At Last in Full Bloom

Introduced to home gardeners a few years ago and is a best seller online and in garden centers.  The rose has a soft fragrant scent that I enjoy as I get close to where it grows in my dome greenhouse.  At first, my shrub was in the landscape taking on full sun.  It was doing very well but I decided to take it into my dome garden to see how the plant would respond to hardiness 8 growing conditions.  The blooms begin around late March taking a short break when the temperatures get close to 100*F in the dome hot summer.  It resumes blooming in late summer and well into early winter in these conditions.

I had so much fun doing this short video clip o the bloom before I cut it to enjoy in my bouquet for the day.  If you would like to see more of my videos be sure to check out my Bren Haas Channel uploads on my YouTube.

At Last with Succulents

The ‘At Last Rose’ I grow it in a 1-gallon terra cotta container.  This variety is perfect for container gardening because it will reach only 36″ in height.  I keep mine pruned because it will get lanky with loads of buds which really isn’t a bad thing.  Check out the photo featuring the At Last with a few unexpected pair plants. what do you think of the kalanchoe blooming yellow with this rose?

At Last Gallery

This where you will find a few of my favorite collections of images.  The At Last gets plenty of photos because it blooms the longest out of all my roses today.

All of the photos in this collection were from the Dome Greenhouse Garden Year-Round.
