Zephirine Drouhin Climbing Rose Review
Over the past 10 plus years since I’ve been growing roses in my home garden I’ve had folks tell me not to purchase roses in bags. These are the roses you find at most garden centers in a paper roll that are basically bare root plants. I have had tons of success growing these including this zephirine drouhin climbing rose. Added to my garden in 2019 – you are going to love this video!

Zephirine Drouhin Climbing Rose Details
There are so many fun facts about how this rose is growing in my garden that makes it a ‘keeper’. I think what most impress me is the numerous and beautiful blooms. The buds go from a pink with white tips on the petals.
It is super easy to take care of the “Zephirine Drouhin” (Rosa “Zephirine Drouhin”) Climbing Rose because it is basically throneless. This old-fashioned, bright pink climber is one of my all time favorites because of its low maintenance and beautiful Bourbon rose buds. This plant has been around since 1896 and is rated for U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 5 through 9.
