Microgreen Lettuce Growing Tip Review

It is really very easy to grow lettuce in your home and or garden.  The trick is finding the right lettuce for the conditions you create.  These seeds grew great in a container with potting soil.  Bright light is nice so you could germinate indoors and move to a window box outside if temperatures do not go below freezing.  If they do you can cover the crop with make shift covers like I did with my spinach.

The Lettuce Varieties To Grow

In this video I am growing a microgreen seed | Red Salad Bowl Lettuce and Oakleaf Lettuce.  Both did amazingly well with temperatures in the 80*f for over a week.  They didn’t turn bitter!

Both of these lettuce varieties I found on Amazon at Ohio Heirloom Seeds.
