This shrub is continuously a winner in my home garden not only because it is easy to take care of but for its shape and color. In the images below you will see how gorgeous this plant is at the beginning of the rose blooming season.
This variety is happily growing in the full sun corner of the back landscape. Drought and low-water tolerant: surface roots take up available surface water while deeper roots access lower level water in drought conditions.
Since the season of blooms begins in June I hope you consider coming back to see the blooms up until the first hard frost. This carpet rose is a winner!
Finally, I want to stress how I can’t believe this is the first real post dedicated to this Flower Carpet Ground cover rose. I truly believe this my just be the grandma of all shrub roses.
