Early Winter Color in The Garden Landscape

Landscape in Early Winter
Landscape Art

The gardens and landscape can get very ‘drab’ during the winter months especially when the snow has yet to arrive.  In this post I want to share with you some perennials, shrubs and trees that provide color interest.  Don’t forget, I am in hardiness zone 5b so it won’t be long and we will be covered with white mulch!

Winter Color Interest in the Garden Landscape Video

In the video below we take a walk about the front of my porch and side garden to check out color that is interesting during the early winter months.  Be sure to scroll down and leave comments and questions on my blog post about this feature.

The video feature is on my Bren Haas YouTube Channel.  Please show support and follow me on that network but be sure to check out my website for updates and video information.

Winter Color in the Landscape

It is such a treat to walk about the winter gardens and share with you some of my favorite plants, shrubs and trees.  First off I think it is important to note how these varieties perform during all seasons especially winter.  If you have some color in the garden during the winter it just spreads some cheer – don’t you think?  Do you know what hardiness zone you are growing in?
