It’s been a while so I am sharing a vlog featuring hanging out after dark in my yard. In this video I share a quick video and some images. These are some samples of what you can add to your backyard to create a fun get away for all ages.

As the temperatures drop in the evening it is the perfect time to make a campfire. Grab the smore makings and flashlight to enjoy some outside time with family and friends. In this vlog below we do just that:

Hightlights Hanging Out After Dark
The video attached to this blog post was fun to put together. It really was a dark night because the moon isn’t right over head yet and we are in the country. Just listening to the campfire crackle and crickets sing is fun. I know I got a little excited about some of the critters. The animal eyes glowing back way out front had to be a cat.

Hanging Out After Dark Must Haves
It seems appropriate to add a list of things I recommend for hanging out. In the video I share what it is like and how we create this safe surrounding. We’ve been ‘camping’ in our backyard since before Covid or any other lock down situation. I hope you consider adding some features to your backyard as well. Here is my list of hanging out after dark must haves:
- Flashlight ( Fenix hm61R) is the one I recommend!
- Campfire
- Smore makings
- Outdoor sitting room
- Water feature
- Pest Control
