In this post I share my favorite broccoli and ramen noodle salad recipe. The healthy salad has been a favorite in my family for many years. This is a great salad to take to potlucks and other get togethers. Enjoy!
Broccoli and Ramen Noodle Salad Recipe
I first had this salad at a company picnic years ago. The recipe was TOP SECRET at the time but I was able to get my friend to share her recipe. After making this for family get togethers everyone started requesting me to whip this up. It is a super easy dish to also make for family summer dinners. Below are the ingredients you will need:
- broccoli slaw
- Oriental flavored Ramen Noodle Pack
- fresh spring onions
- soy sauce
- olive oil
- sunflower seeds
This salad is super easy to make and most ingredients I usually have in the pantry. Check out my printable version of this recipe below so you can save it for your files. The #1 thing to remember is to add the uncooked Ramen Noodles last with the sunflower seeds.
Broccoli and Ramen Noodle Salad RecipeCourse: SideDifficulty: easy
(16 ounce) package broccoli coleslaw mix
2 (3 ounce) package chicken flavored ramen noodles
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup cider vinegar or soy sauce
In a large salad bowl, combine the slaw, broken noodles and green onions.
Whisk together the sugar, oil, vinegar and ramen seasoning packets.
Pour over salad and toss to evenly coat.
Refrigerate until chilled; top with sunflower seeds before serving.
