Cheap Seed Starting Indoors
This must be my third or fourth seed starting video this season because I LOVE starting seeds. Firstly, I am ecstatic that I am growing dahlia from seed in addition to the tubers this year. You will want to come back to see how those seeds grow for me. Meanwhile, check out the video below:
The video is part of my Bren Haas Channel. Be sure to stop back often to see more unique videos.
Highlights From Cheap Seed Starting
You can’t go wrong starting seeds this early in the season really at 50 cents each. This has got to be one of the easiest THRILLS you will always remember. Even if the seeds are DUDS (which I am very sure they are not) you have learn something. Here are the Cheap Seeds I found at Walmart.
- Enana Dahlia
- Dwarf Magic Carpet Snapdragon
- Dwarf Phlox
- Birdhouse Gourd
In spite of the fact that I have seeds on order I just had to grab these cheap seeds to start indoors. Wouldn’t you at such a low price?
It wasn’t like I I didn’t save money using recyclable items I have accumulated over the last few years.

Happy Gardening,
One response to “Cheap Seed Starting”
Update… the only seed that produced anything starting indoors out of this batch was the dahlia seed package. I got 1 large plant out of this sowing session. Maybe direct sow would have been the better way to plant these varieties. The GOOD THING is the seeds were cheap and it is always a learning experience when gardening especially with seeds.
