Here it is…. download or bookmark but be sure to ENJOY!  Don’t forget if you don’t like anchovy do not add this!  If you throw capers into the salad it gives it that same fish pop without the fish.

This recipe is a favorite and I make it up often because I always have the basics in stock.  Homemade fresh is best but be sure to refrigerate for at least 1 hour for best flavor.

  • 6 cloves garlic, mashed and minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar.
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
  • 1/2 cup olive oil.
  • Lemon juice, for seasoning.
  • Minced anchovy fillets, optional.

  1. In favorite mixing bowl combine all of the above ingredients and mix with whisk till blended but not beaten.
  2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  3. Dressing will keep in refrigerator for up to a week.

Note that you can substitute 1/2 teaspoon of fish sauce per anchovy fillet.
