Quick and Easy Caesar Dressing Recipe

Did you know that the original Caesar dressing was created in Tijuana, Mexico?  In this post, I share an easy spin from that amazing original that is much quicker to whip up to enjoy with fresh vegetables from the garden and pasta dishes.

Fresh is most certainly best when it comes to dressing to dress up homegrown veggies.  Below is a favorite salad dressing I love to use on veggies and kinds of pasta for a quick meal.  Be sure to take advantage of the printable option available on this recipe share.

Quick and Easy Caesar Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 cloves garlic, mashed and minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar.
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
  • 1/2 cup olive oil.
  • Lemon juice, for seasoning.
  • Minced anchovy fillets, optional.

Instructions

  1. In favorite mixing bowl combine all of the above ingredients and mix with whisk till blended but not beaten.
  2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  3. Dressing will keep in refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

Note that you can substitute 1/2 teaspoon of fish sauce per anchovy fillet.
