In this post, I share a video featuring the Butterfly Garden I kind of ‘threw’ together this year. I hope you enjoy the video and a few of my personal recommendations.
Butterfly Garden Update
This video was originally captured on a live stream for Facebook group GardenChat. You can find out more about that group on my website by searching GardenChat. Live streams are some of my favorite things to do because I am able to share what I am most passionate about at that moment. Technology is amazing! I hope you take a look at the fun little monarchs (caterpillars) I find and enjoy the tips on how to welcome them to your home garden.
Thank you for taking the time to check out this video. I hope if you are on YouTube you will consider subscribing to my page. You can find me at Bren Haas YouTube Channel.
My Butterfly Fun at Home
I share more about butterfly encounters on my website. Welcoming wildlife such as this spectacular insect is a very important part of gardening for me. I think my favorites are the Monarch just because there has been so much attention and awareness in the past few years. Reading current research and publications on the Monarch made me realize I am pretty good at gardening. I’ve always had clusters of milkweed growing naturally and transplanted by me on our property. The best part of all the studying is I was able to learn what the life cycle is like with these insects. I know how to look for the Monarch eggs and Caterpillar. What a treat to watch the caterpillar turn into a butterfly in my home garden a few summers past.
