When it comes to dressing fresh, homegrown veggies, nothing beats the taste of homemade. Below is my go-to salad dressing that I love to use on vegetables and various pasta for a fast meal. Don’t forget to take advantage of the printable option available by scrolling down.

Ingredients

For this recipe, you will need the following:

  • Garlic
  • Dijon mustard
  • Vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Anchovy (optional)

Homemade Caesar Dressing Recipe

This recipe is a favorite of mine, and I often whip it up because I always have the essentials on hand. While homemade is undoubtedly best, be sure to refrigerate it for at least an hour for optimal flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cloves garlic mashed and minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar.
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup olive oil.
  • Lemon juice, for seasoning.
  • Minced anchovy fillets, optional.

Instructions

  1. In your favorite mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and whisk until blended but not overly beaten.
  2. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  3. The dressing will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

You can substitute ½ teaspoon of fish sauce for each anchovy fillet if desired.
