What’s New : Mini Bok Choi and Purple Snow Peas

Have you heard of Cultivate Show?  I’ve been attending this Garden Industry Trade show since 2008.  I don’t make it every year but when I do I am super excited to share about what I find new for home gardeners.  The show isn’t open to the public.  It is an honor to be able to go and bring you my favorite finds.  Below is a video from the show.

Sakata Veggies at #cultivate15 Video

I did my very first live stream using a new app called Periscope at the Sakata Booth!  I got to tour the new veggies that were featured at the booth with Heather and Alicia.  This video at:https://youtu.be/BBX7_uYtfhU

You can find this video on my Bren Haas YouTube Channel. I love sharing videos so be sure to connect with me on YouTube if you are a member.

Below are photos from the show.  Check out the green grown just to showcase the latest for this event.

Heather and Alicia over at the Sakata Seed display share  Leafy Greens combo that can be put together in Spring or Autumn in your home garden.  Don’t miss the adorable Peas that produce in 30 days!

Above is the table of beautiful flowers and vegetables showcase at the show.  I am very excited about those peas in the background.

Mini Bok Choi

Some of the edges of the vegetable are a little brown due to being grown in a hothouse for this July show.  The vegetable does much better in cooler temperatures that are more suitable for April and May in Ohio zone 5b.  I grew these a few years ago indoors and transplanted to my garden in the dome for an early April harvest.
