Petchoa Plant in Autumn Hanging Baskets
The petchoa plant in this basket is really making my front porch POP during the change of season. I recently ordered some new toss pillow covers to use in the front porch as well. This is one of my favorite spots to be surrounded by nature. The video shows some fun growing ideas along with tips on keeping the plant happy. Petchoa Plant Facts
Because the petchoa is a cross between a petunia and a calibrachoas you can only expect the best. It is a clean and tidy plant that doesn’t drop sticky spent blooms like the petunia. This plant is also tolerable to heat and loves cooler weather in the evening. There are so many reasons to grow this plant in your home garden that I decided to list a few of my favorites below:
- Outstanding color
- trailing and mounding habit making it perfect for baskets
- Easy care needing little to no deadheading
- Perfect for late summer to autumn outdoor containers and landscape
- The plant doesn’t get sticky like petunias
- Available at most garden centers year-round.
I hope these reasons I love the plant inspire you to try some of your own. The plants in this video and post I purchased at Walmart. This post was not sponsored I am simply sharing to document my experience with the plant.
