New Plants From Garden Center VLOG
In today’s video feature on my blog post, I highlight the Twisted Red Current Celosia that I brought home, along with various other plants I discovered during my trip to the garden center. Although there were more varieties available, I spent just around 30 minutes at this location. However, I left with a treasure trove of ideas for incorporating vibrant colors into the late growing season.
I hope you enjoyed my garden center visit video that is embedded from my Bren Haas YouTube Channel. Did you see something you are interested in trying in your garden? I would love to hear from you so be sure to comment with questions and feedback below.
A Memorable Visit to a Unique Greenhouse
Every plant during my visit captivated my attention. One truly remarkable aspect of independently owned greenhouses like this one is their ability to cultivate unique specimens that I haven’t encountered in other garden centers. I can genuinely say that there are few family-owned establishments remaining in my area of Ohio.
Here are some highlights from my visit:
- Twister Red Current Celosia
- Twisted Dark Orange Celosia
- Purple Baron Ornamental Mullet
- Ornamental Peppers
- Dwarf Zinnias
- Marigolds
- Ornamental Cabbage
- Baby Blue Bouquet Eucalyptus
- Bridal Veil Houseplant
- Chrysanthemums
- Hen and Chicks
- Traditional Celosia
- Sunflowers
These are just a few of the incredible and vibrant plants I discovered during my trip to the garden center today. I’m always amazed by the dedication and passion that these family-owned greenhouses pour into their craft, resulting in plants that are not only healthy and vibrant but also unique in their beauty and characteristics. Each plant seemed to have its own story, a testament to the care and expertise involved in cultivating them.
