To my surprise, there are a bunch of the tiny tomatoes left out in the garden raised bed. In this post I share the forgotten seeds I am saving to hopefully grow this summer.
In the Garden Saving Forgotten Seeds
Over the past few weeks I have been starting my tomato and pepper seeds. During the growing season I rarely have time to document other then images of the plants as they grow. As I document this past week I realized I forgot to save some seeds from the Spoon Tomato. After realizing it is an heirloom, I am out in the garden finding seeds where that beautiful and flavorful plant grew. Check out my video as we rummage thru the soil and dead foliage of winter.
This video is part of my Bren Haas YouTube Channel. I hope you consider following me on that network if you are a video fan!
Forgotten Seeds
A few years back I had left some heirloom seeds in trays in my garden shed. I guess I am hoping these do as well as those did after enduring a freeze and then dry season. FINGERS CROSSED! You will have to stop back and see how these seeds end up germinating (or not). In the meantime, I am loving the way the seeds look in the photo below.
