Adam and I are having a blast connecting with so many different people who enjoy playing in the soil. In August we got to meet up with some awesome folks at Veggie Trials who provide many of the seed for the plants we grow in our home gardens. Two of those awesome seedy folks were Founder and President of Sustainable Seed Company John Fendley ( A.K.A. Farmer John) and Seed Curator Leyla who holds degrees in the field of botany.
Garden Chatter : Growing Garlic
Adam and I were excited when John committed to sharing about how to grow garlic on Garden Chatter in early September. Luckily, this was just in time for me to get out in my garden here in zone 5b and plant my Inchelium Red Garlic I brought home from California. During this 40 minute event John and Leyla shared growing tips, information about the seed, how to pick a garlic variety to grow and more.
