Columbus Ohio Plant Trials is something to take the family to see each year. The AAS (All America Selections) trial garden at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden in Columbus Ohio is something to see. In this post you will find video and images from mid-July.

Columbus Ohio Botanical Garden Plant Trials

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden is what I am calling the Columbus Ohio Botanical Garden because the name is just too long for SEO purposes! (giggle) Seriously, try saying the official name 3 times in a row.  Humid and overcast in the image collection feature on this July post. However, additional information about this location can be found at bottom of this post.

In the footage below you will see a few of my personal favorite AAS winning plants in this trial garden.  Fortunately,  my favorite photo editing program makes this slide show comes to life.

This video is part of my Bren Haas Channel on YouTube.

Highlights From Columbus Ohio Botanical Garden Plant Trials

Firstly, this is slide show is from images from a few years ago.  Looking back at images of plants from the past makes for great inspiration.  Secondly, it is hard to find time to get a post and video share during the growing season due to my own gardens.  Many of the plants featured on my All America Selections post are growing in my home garden.  Below are a few of the images from the garden tour I feel are worth sharing.

The conservatory structure looks amazing.  I must admit, I have yet to go inside to see the plants.

Vegetable gardens are some of my favorites to tour therefore, no surprise to see a few in this presentation.  The peppers and tomatoes were not ready for harvest. However, the plant is doing well in the trial garden capture. In addition to sharing a few of the vegetables at the garden take a look at the structures.  I was shocked at how the vegetable garden really needed some TLC.  And on that note, I sound like a serious garden snob!

You maybe consider this location for your upcoming wedding or special event. Check out my post about Botanic Garden Weddings.
