One of the most delightful aspects of spring in my region is visiting the local garden centers. I’m talking about those charming independent garden centers that don’t operate year-round like the larger greenhouse retailers. In today’s post, I’m thrilled to share one of my favorite local spots, featuring the plants I acquired during my visit right before our last frost date. You’ll find an enjoyable video along with images showcasing the plants I recommend.

Bostdorff’s Greenhouse Visit Spring 2026

There were so many stunning plants, including perennials and shrubs, that I couldn’t feature them all in today’s post. The video highlights just a few of the beautiful selections that I absolutely loved exploring. Unfortunately, I can’t bring everything home, but I can always snap a photo to share with all of you. Enjoy the short video below, and scroll down to see a few images from my trip, along with the treasures I brought home.

A Big Shout-Out to Bostdorff’s Greenhouse

I can’t express how enjoyable my shopping experience was at the greenhouse during my visit. I chose a weekday morning, which meant it wasn’t overly crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly and diligently working to ensure everything was well-stocked and in perfect condition for the growing season. To find the greenhouse, simply enter their address into your mobile map application:

Bostdorff’s Greenhouse 18862 North Dixie Highway, Bowling Green, OH, 43402

Be sure to call ahead and check their hours and if they are open for business.
