Highlights of Welcome to The Agrihood

This is a good resource no matter where you live today. Who doesn’t want to learn how to save money and eat local produce?  Everyone who produces quality food for eating, cooking, planting, and selling will enjoy the publication. There is something in this book for everyone to learn and enjoy. Food can be more affordable and available through many sources listed in this book.  Below are my two favorite sections in the publication:

  • The Shopping chapter  outlines details and descriptions of On-Farm markets and community supported Agriculture.  I love the list of CSA’s outlining each state and city.
  • In Backyard Gardening chapter anyone can get an idea of what it is like to be an organic gardener.  Find information on growing your own organic food.  Organic certification, food safety, biodiversity, beekeeping, soil testing, composting and local laws are in this section.

Bren Recommends

This publication is definitely a FIVE STAR! If you are serious about cutting your carbon footprint it is a great place to start.  Get your copy using my Amazon Affilate link here.
