It isn’t uncommon to find a few patches of morel mushrooms growing on our property in Ohio. The biggest issue is not knowing what ‘bugs’ maybe in the spores or what other encounters the harvest may have had. In todays post I share a vlog featuring my first ever indoor mushroom harvest.
Growing North Spore Mushroom Harvest
You can imagine my surprise when I spotted the beautiful blue oyster mushrooms on display in the dome. Honestly, I didn’t expect them to produce a harvest after a few tries with other in home grow your own mushroom kits. It was exciting to see such a beautiful gift … kind of from nature! In the video feature on this page I share my experience with the North Spore Kits. North Spore Mushroom Harvest Images
The harvest from this mushroom kit is super delicious. I did take a little bite off of one of the blue oyster mushrooms. It had a bold and very earthy taste. This would be awesome chopped up in a salad but I like my mushrooms sauté’ and served with meat or pasta! Below are a few images from my first mushroom harvest from the North Spore Grow Kits.
