Harvesting and Preparing Rosemary Tips

In this post I share harvesting and preparing rosemary tips.  You will love how easy it is to not only grow the plant but enjoy daily.  Join me in the dome and my kitchen in the video attached to this post. Harvesting and Preparing Rosemary Video In this video we had out to the dome to harvest off of an older plant.  This plant has been in the dome growing healthy for over five years.  Check out how I take the fresh new branch off to use in my latest recipe.  Watch the video below and scroll down to see harvesting rosemary tips. Important Harvesting and Preparing Rosemary Tips Rosemary is one of the easiest plants to grow from seed, harvest and prepare in meals.  I think folks just don’t realize how rewarding this herb really is to have in home and garden.  Below I am listing a few important harvesting and preparing tips.  If you have questions or want to add to this conversation please scroll down and leave a comment. Use pruners or kitchen scissors to cut the rosemary twig. Be sure to use the freshest leaves for cooking and baking. Experiment with different varieties of this herb to find the one you enjoy most. Gently wash the branch before removing the leaves to use in recipe. Use your fingers and pinch the branch or twig while moving up to remove what is edible. Chop the fresh leaves finely when using in a recipe. FRESH herbs go ALONG WAY so be careful not to add to much.
