This year, we shattered the record for mid-90s temperatures that was previously set in June 1988. I must confess, I did not anticipate experiencing this intense heat so early in the summer season. There are still numerous plants in the dome that have yet to be relocated for the year. In this post, I will provide an update on the June heatwave within the geodesic biodome. You can expect to find a video along with some highlight images that illustrate what it’s like to cultivate in this controlled environment.
Recorded Breaking Heat Hits Dome
In the video presentation linked to this blog post, I take you on a tour around the dome, both inside and out. During this footage, the temperatures soar well above 90°F, accompanied by high humidity. You’ll observe how certain plants thrive in the controlled environment of the geodesic bio dome. Additionally, don’t miss a brief glimpse of the perennials outside that attract pollinators to the area.
