Good Morning Egg Sandwich Recipe

Sometimes we get so busy in the garden that we forget the most important part of the day…. breakfast.  In today’s post, I share a simple and healthy egg sandwich recipe.  I hope you find it as easy to whip up as I do and are able to sit back and enjoy the garden for a few minutes. Ingredient Ideas for Egg Sandwich

  • 1 cup of Egg Beater ( or 4 large eggs whipped with a dash of milk)
  • wheat bagel thins
  • sourdough English muffins
  • pepper jack cheese
  • American cheese


  1. Mix up the scrabble egg mix
  2. heat up a skillet to cook
  3. toast bagel or English muffins
  4. prepare sausage patty
  5. layer meat on the bottom of the bagel or muffin, sausage, egg, and then cheese. The cheese kind of holds it all together.
  6. Top the egg with Havarti spicy Cheese to make a delicious garden spice breakfast sandwich to enjoy on the go!

Prep time




  • 1 cup of Egg Beater ( or 4 large eggs whipped with a dash of milk)

  • 4 Wheat bagel thins or sourdough English Muffins

  • 4 sausage or turkey patties (precooked)

  • Pepper jack cheese or American cheese


  • Mix up the 4 eggs with a dash of milk if not using 'Egg Beater' mix. Heat up a skillet to cook the eggs.

  • Prepare the English muffin or bagels while waiting for the eggs to cook in skillet.

  • Prepare the Sausage or Turkey patty as directed on package.  I like to use the premade so all I have to do is heat up on skillet or microwave.

  • Layer meat on bottom of the bagel or muffin, egg and then cheese slice.  The egg should be warm enough to melt the cheese. 

  • Wrap up and go or eat immediately. 

    This is my own recipe I’ve been waking up to for years.  It is a great way to start the morning with a kick!
