Dome Garden Mid-Summer Highlights
First off I want to note how it is amazing to be able to grow plants in two different hardiness zones really. Inside the dome greenhouse is like walking into a humid summer day in Florida even though I am in Ohio. I LOVE IT!!!! Below are a few of the dome garden update mid-summer highlights. These are plant feature in the video on this page. Scroll down on my website today to send feedback and ask questions.
Daylilies are super easy to grow and enjoy in most any Midwest garden. These are a few of my favorites blooming right now in my landscape around the dome.
Milkweed seed went every where this spring from my collection of ‘old’ seed. I honestly didn’t think it would germinate being over 4 years old an stored in my garage. Look at all that Butterfly ‘lure’.
There are many new things going on in the dome but this is my favorite image from today. I just love being able to enjoy different and unique cactus / succulent year-round in this growing space.
