Zinnias, Sunflowers and Cosmos
Zinnias, Sunflowers and Bees Growing Now in my Home Garden … when the winter arrives I dream of the time I spend walking in the cut flowers I grew from seed each summer.
Walk in the Veggie / Cut Flower Garden
My cucumbers really struggled this year with too much water and no heat and then it got dry and hot. This is why I grow cardinal Climber vine with the cucumbers on the trellis so when the cukes are done the climbers take over. I just love how this looks with the sunflower and zinnias on the edge of the big garden.
Grow Some Boom
Growing popping corn and sunflowers in this space really makes me happy! The corn is just starting to produce in late August…. no worries.
It has been so much fun seeing what everyone is sharing each week from their gardens on blogs and social media. You should join in on the hashtag #GrowNow2015. Stop by Beth’s site and see who is featured for Week 14 on #GrowNow2015 .
