It’s a busy weekend and you are super busy enjoying the last days of Spring when unexpected guest show up. Why not dazzle them with an amazing and super easy lemon icing on top of Panettone berry trifle for a quick dessert to enjoy on the deck. This recipe is super easy and will be one you will make again and again especially if you use the lemon you grow on your own container shrub in your home garden.
Lemon Icing Bauli Panettone

2 cups icing sugar
1/3 cup of water
½ lemon juice
In a bowl, thoroughly sift the icing sugar. Gradually add the warm water.
Stir vigorously by adding a few drops of lemon juice: you can use a spoon or spatula.
The frosting should have a fairly smooth consistency.
For a more liquid consistency, add more warm water.
(Otherwise just add more powdered sugar.)
