Growing Veggies Year-Round No Matter Where You Live

This past Monday on #gardenchat (a Twitter based chat forum) we welcomed Canadian all natural grower Niki Jabbour.  Niki is the author of ‘The Year-Round Vegetable Gardener’ .  I had the privilege of meeting Niki Jabbour at the Philadelphia Flower Show this past spring so it was a delight to introduce her online to my #gardenchat friends.

One of my favorite displays from this past spring flower show events was this raised bed at the Philadelphia Flower Show.

As a year-round grower myself I totally recommend Niki’s book to any gardener who wants to break the rules and grow out of season.  That sounds so reckless doesn’t it?! LOL   The Author of this book is anything but reckless and takes well thought out planning advice in this book.   One of my favorite things about this book is that Niki covers all levels of gardening.  I have been growing year -round for 3 years now and I find something new each time I open’ The Year-Round Vegetable Gardener ‘

And just when you thought you could get everything you needed from a publication like this one you find out it has a social presence.  Where else can you read something in a book and go online to ask questions addressed to the author?  Click on over to @NikiJabbour on Twitter to ask questions as well as listen to her on her radio show every week on The Weekend Gardener / News 95.7
IF you missed last Mondays 6/4/ 2012 #gardenchat event featuring Niki Jabbour you can download your copy of the transcript loaded with links at #gardenchat Transcript page.
