Best Ever Chicken and Veggie Soup Recipe
Busy days cool days means not much time to be cooking up the traditional comfort warming soups. After a recent trip to Costco, I brought home a jar of Organic Chicken Base. The USDA certified label caught my eye so I added it to my collection of spices in my kitchen. When I started chopping up what I had on hand for soup I didn’t intend to use the chicken base. After all, I had added great ingredients like parsley from the dome, celery from my raised beds, organic carrots, chicken breast; hard to imagine the soup needed a little kick. After the first test taste, I knew it needed something so in went a tablespoon of the new product. WOW!!!! You gotta try my this under 1 hour to prepare soup because it is Best-Ever Chicken and Veggie Soup Recipe
YES… I did add some chili flakes to my soup!
The recipe is super easy to put together as long as you have a few fresh ingredients on hand. Today I used some of the celery I have growing in my raised beds, parsley fresh from the dome and chicken breast from the freezer. The recipe is one I just made up as I threw things in my favorite pot from my gardens and cabinets on a cool day.

It’s hard to believe these photos of the garden were taken in late October. Nights in the mid-’30s and winter chores need to be done but who would know!
As I type this recipe on my blog today my husband just helped himself to a third helping of this soup! I need to finish up this post and get it live or I won’t be able to have a second helping because the soup will be gone.
