Berry-Bourbon Lemonade

Entertain outside with seasonal snacks and cocktails that go from garden to your beverage glass.  In today’s post you will want to use this recipe to spice up your summer parties and serve these up more then twice!  I’ve got a few fun red, white and blue cocktails and meals I’ll be sharing in the next few days so stay tune and follow me on Twitter for updates.

 Berry-Bourbon Lemonade


  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Blackberry Simple Syrup
  • 1/3 c Sambazon Amazon Energy (of choice) chilled
  • 5 Frozen Blackberries


  1. In a shaker, combine bourbon, lemon juice, blackberry syrup, Sambazon Amazon Energy and ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a tall glass over frozen berries (instead of ice) and garnish with mint, if desired.

I’m anxiously waiting to see how many blackberries I will beat the deer to in the back meadow later this season.  I really hope to get at least a handful to mix up in this drink!
