Every day is a holiday when you bring homegrown veggies to the kitchen for your family and friend: Apricot, Walnuts and Broccoli Salad Recipe

Apricot, Walnut and Broccoli Salad Recipe

Something about the flavor of sweet fresh fruit, bold broccoli right from the garden and hearty walnuts.  Below is my broccoli salad I like to whip up almost anytime of the year just as long as there is fresh broccoli on hand. I hope you will take advantage of the print option featured in this post.

Broccoli Salad

Always use fresh broccoli for this tasty salad. I recommend the Artwork variety that you can easily grow in your home garden. During a road trip to Veggie Trials, I got to connect with the grower to find out where the name came from.  I also got to taste this amazing harvest right out of the field.

Where Artwork Broccoli Got its Name

Did you know that most of the seeds we grow in our home garden have meaning behind its name? There is always a story that goes with its amazing variety. It was awesome to see the Artwork broccoli growing in the home garden field for the first time at Veggie Trials.  The video below I share what it looked like and the grower sharing his story.
